What's Happening in Our World...

No Shave November, also known as Movember, is an annual initiative where participants grow mustaches and beards throughout November to raise awareness for men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer and other male-related cancers. The mission of No Shave November is to “change the face of men’s health.

This campaign encourages participation to boost early cancer detection, improve diagnosis and treatment options, and ultimately decrease preventable deaths. In addition to regular check-ups, No Shave November promotes awareness of family cancer history and encourages healthier lifestyle choices.

How to Participate: Those wishing to join in can grow a mustache or any style of facial hair throughout the month. Women can also participate by wearing blue, symbolizing support for men’s health.

The goal is to spark conversations—when someone asks, “Why are you growing that beard or mustache?” the answer is a chance to raise awareness for men’s health. You can direct them to our website for donations that support vital research initiatives!
